Beaverlodge RCMP seek assistance to locate copper and parts worth $2 Million

Beaverlodge RCMP are investigating a theft they say is worth $2-million dollars.

A list of items includes:

• several large spools of heavy-gauge copper for industrial use

• turbine parts included cowl covers, which are an ionized brown in colour

• other smaller stainless steel parts

They were taken from a gas plant located north of Wembley sometime between November 6 and 27.

The RCMP is asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity related to this theft between November 6, 2019, and November 27, 2019, to contact the Beaverlodge RCMP at 780-354-2955, or your local police service.
