RCMP are asking for help to identify three people whose remains have been found in Alberta over the past 40 years.

The missing persons and unidentified human remains unit says the remains of one woman, who was last seen alive before 1975, were discovered in Hinton, Alta., in 1985.

She was between 16 and 30-years old and of possible Indigenous ancestry.

The second case is of a possibly Asian man between 25 and 40, who was last seen alive between 2008 and 2013.

His remains were found in September 2013 in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, which is part of Kananaskis Country.

The remains of another unidentified woman, who was last seen alive between 1980 and 1985, were found in April 1995 near Carbon, Alta.
