EarlyAct and Bandaged Paws to host Paws for Claus adoption event

Dec 14, 2019 | 7:00 AM

The EarlyAct Club of Grande Prairie has partnered with Bandaged Paws animal rescue association to host the Paws for Claus adoption event.

Different animals under the care of Bandaged Paws will be available for adoption at the event.

The EarlyAct club is associated with Rotary International and is among other three other clubs; Interact, Rotaract, and Rotary. It is for kids aged 5 to 13 and is the youngest group of Rotarians.

Danielle Bizon, the Coordinator of the EarlyAct Club of Grande Prairie, says the club focuses on several core themes and values, which is why they chose to partner with Bandaged Paws.

“With EarlyAct working on different themes throughout the year, this just really seemed to fit where the kids could help find animals homes for the holidays, and it’s all heart this one, and it’s to be able to give the kids and opportunity to have these animals find their homes and to be a part of that is kind of a great thing.”

EarlyAct will set up with Bandaged Paws and have a table accepting donations for Bandaged Paws. Donations accepted include cat litter, dog and cat food, toys and treats.

The event will go from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at 9918 121 Avenue, which is the old Greyhound station.
