GPAC Ernie’s Sports Major Midget Storm

The GPAC Storm fell 6-0 to the Calgary Buffaloes on Sunday afternoon.

Ryan Sullivan opened the scoring with 2:50 left in the first to make in 1-0 Calgary.

The Buffaloes would continue to add to their lead in the second. The team would add four goals in the second period and one more in the third to give the team the victory.

The Storm will travel to Edmonton next weekend for a pair of games. The team will face the Canadian Athletic Club on Saturday, and they’ll take on the Knights of Columbus Pats on Sunday.

PCFAC Female Midget Elite Storm

On their third game in three nights the PCFAC Storm fell to the Sherwood Park Fury 4-2 in Sherwood Park.

Chloe Boyko and Madison Teague would both score in the first period to make it 2-0 Sherwood Park after one.

In the second Hope Achtymichuk extended the Sherwood Park lead to 3-0.

In the third period the Storm would get on the board with a goal from Charlieze Sallis. 13 seconds later, Tayler Premak would score for Sherwood Park making it a 4-1 game.

Sallis would add another goal for the Storm midway through the third period, but it wouldn’t be enough to complete the comeback.

The PCFAC are now off for the Christmas break. They will return to action on January 10 when they travel to Edmonton to face the Pandas.

GPAC Minor Midget Boston Pizza Storm

The Grande Peace Storm lost their third straight game against the Southside Athletic Club Bulldogs 7-1 on Sunday.

The team is off until January 4 when they will look to bounce back against the same bulldogs team.
