North Peace Navigators @ Fariview Flyers

The North Peace Navigators ended their two-game losing streak on Wednesday night as they defeated the Fairview Flyers 7-6.

In the first period it would be the Flyers jumping on the board first, with two quick goals coming 2:16 apart from Dawson Blanchette and Rylee Hebert to make it 2-0 10:50 into the first period.

The game would continue to go back and forth in the first. The teams would trade three goals in a span of 1:23 to make it 3-2 Flyers after the first period. Dawson Briscoe and Jonathan Noskey would pick up the goals for the Navigators, while Tyler Wirth would add one more for the Flyers.

In the second period the Navigators would take control. Robert Lemay, Theo Cunningham (Laderoute) and Dylan Bellerose would all tally for the Nav’s with three goals in the first 15 minutes of the second period to make it a 5-3 Navigators lead. Ryan Hebert would add a late goal for the Flyers to make it 5-4 Navigators after two periods.

The third period saw the Flyers come out flying. Eric Dentigner and Dawson Blanchette pocketed two goals in the span of 15 seconds to put the Flyers up 6-5 in the first minute of the third.

The scoring would almost dry up from there, until Lemay would pot his second goal of the game with under three minutes to play to tie the game at 6-6.

As the clocked ticked down, Lemay would score his hat-trick goal with 11 seconds to play in the game to give the Navigators a 7-6 victory.
