Fog advisory ended for Peace Country

UPDATE: Environment Canada has ended the fog advisory for Grande Prairie and the rest of the Peace Country.

A fog advisory is effect for an area from Manning to Grande Prairie, and all the way across the North-Central part of the province to the Alberta-Saskatchewan border.

Environment Canada says an area of dense fog has formed in central Alberta and is significantly reducing visibilities in some areas.

They say the fog is expected to dissipate later Saturday morning.

You are reminded that if visibility is reduced while driving, you should turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
