Approximately 20 cattle killed in barn fire north of Sexsmith

The County Regional Fire Service says approximately 20 cattle were killed in a barn fire north of Sexsmith on Monday night.
Crews were called out to the fire at around 9:57 p.m. on January 6 to the barn located on Range Road 60, near Township Road 742.
The barn was found to be fully engulfed in flames as crews from Sexsmith, Teepee Creek, Dunes, Clairmont, La Glace, Wembley and Bezanson arrived at the scene.
The fire was threatening other property at the time of arrival, but crews were able to contain the fire to the barn itself.
