Police say four people have been killed and six injured in a head on collision between a pickup truck and passenger van in southern Alberta.
RCMP say the lone occupant of the truck and the driver and two passengers in the van died this morning in the crash north of Taber.
Six other occupants of the van were taken to various hospitals but the extent of their injuries and conditions have not been confirmed.
Belectric Canada Solar – which is building a solar facility in the area – says members of its construction crew were involved in the crash and it’s offering condolences to the family and friends of those affected.
