EDMONTON- The Alberta legislature will resume sitting next month for the first time since wrapping up a fall sitting full of controversy.

United Conservative government house leader Jason Nixon says the Legislative Assembly will reconvene on February 25.

It will be begin with a Throne Speech that will outline the government’s agenda.

The last session that ended early last month featured acrimonious question periods and included the firing of the election commissioner who had been investigating the UCP for fundraising violations.
