Love that chicken from Popeyes?

With buzz that the famed chicken restaurant would be setting up shop in Grande Prairie, the leasing agent for The Shops of Trader Ridge has confirmed to Everything GP that Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is indeed going to set up shop in the north end of the city.

A spokesman for Cushman and Wakefield has confirmed a few other businesses will be moving in there when it opens, as well. Those businesses include Starbucks, Panago Pizza and The Bone & Biscuit Co.

The spokesman could not confirm opening dates or when the development itself would be completed and opened, though.

The development is located at the corner of 132 Avenue and 100 Street, which features a New Horizon Co-op grocery store, gas bar, car wash and liquor store. Windsor Ford also opened the country’s largest Ford dealership on the north end of the development.
