Jan 17, 2020 | 4:23 PM

The Bantam AAA Golden Arrow Storm fell in their final group game at the Western Canadian Crown Elite Bantam Invitational tournament 4-1 Friday to the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX).

The Storm got off to an early start with a goal coming from Connor Bak just two minutes in to make it 1-0.

After the Storm goal, it was all NAX. The Xtreme would go onto score four unanswered and outshoot the Storm 42-13 in the game to pick up the 4-1 victory.

The Storm also played two games Thursday. They beat the Northeast Wolfpack 3-0 and the Sherwood Park United Cycle Flyers 3-2.

Despite the loss, the team has already qualified for the playoff round. Their 2-1 record leaves the Storm in second place in their division.

The Storm plays their playoff game Saturday at 7:15 a.m. against a team that is still to be determined.
