Jan 20, 2020 | 11:37 AM

JDA Kings @ Junior Canucks

The County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings fell 3-2 Sunday to the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks.

The Kings trailed for the entire game, digging themselves into a 3-0 hole in the second period. Bailey Hartman of the Kings would add two goals on the day to try and limit the damage, but at the end of the night, time had run out on the Kings.

The Kings remain in fifth place in the league with 28 points.

Navigators @ Huskies

The Fort St. John Huskies added to their win total as they defeated the North Peace Navigators 3-2 in overtime. The game was rescheduled from January 11.

The Huskies sit on top of the standings with 52 points, 12 points up on the Junior Canucks.

The Kings will host the North Peace Navigators on Friday night at the Crosslink County Sportsplex. The Junior Canucks are in action Wednesday, when they travel to Fort St. John.
