Storm begin four games in five days stretch against Saints

The Grande Prairie Storm begin a quick two-game road trip tonight in Spruce Grove against the Saints. This is the first of four games in five days for the Storm. They’ll be back home on Friday against Fort McMurray for a pair of games this weekend.

The Storm are coming off a quick one-game homestand which saw them fall 4-1 to the Camrose Kodiaks on Friday. A game in which coach Ryan Aasman said his team had “too many passengers.”

The Storm have played well against the Saints this season. In November, the Storm played the Saints three games in a row and picked up five of a possible six points, going 2-0-1 during that stretch. Their only regulation loss to the Saints this season came back in September.

On the other side, the Saints are on a three game winning streak, and are coming off a 5-3 win over the Fort McMurray Oil Barons on Saturday. The Saints sit at second in the AJHL North Division with 68 points, eight points behind first-place Sherwood Park.
