Jan 26, 2020 | 2:00 PM

Multiple sources have confirmed that NBA legend Kobe Bryant has died at the age of 41, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California Sunday morning.

Bryant was traveling in his private helicopter when it crashed, killing all passengers on board. One of those victims was his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna.

Original reports had indicated that five people were aboard the ill-fated chopper. Following a statement from the L.A. County Sheriff on Sunday afternoon, possibly up to nine people may have been on board.

Bryant was a father of four daughters.

The crash comes just one day after current Laker Lebron James passed Bryant for third all-time on the NBA’s scoring list. Bryant took to Twitter to congratulate James last night.

The Philadelphia native spent his entire 20-year career with the Lakers winning five NBA Championships and was an 18-time NBA all-star before he retired in 2016.

The LA County Sheriff’s Department didnt confirm the names of any deceased on board during the crash.

They will release more information as it becomes available.
