Tough night for GPRC teams against Lakeland

GPRC sports teams went 0-and4 against Lakeland on Friday night.

Volleyball matches took place at GPRC gymnasium, where the men fell 3-1 (27-25, 17-25, 23-25, 13-25), as Tom Wheeler led the way for the Wolves with 17 points (7 kills, 8 blocks, 2 service aces) while Ethan Nashim added 15 points (11 kills, 4 blocks).

The GPRC women were swept in 3 straight (20-25, 27-29, 11-25), with Leah Friesen leading the way with 8 points (7 kills, 1 block).

Rematches go Saturday afternoon starting at 1 pm.

On the hardwood, the women’s basketball team fell 90-47, as Sophie Leslie led the way with 10 points.
