Danderfer signs in Poland

Local basketball player Lee Danderfer signs contract in Poland

Lee Danderfer, a native of Grande Prairie, has signed a contract with the Polish basketball club Tarnovia Basket Tarnowo Podgórne.

Danderfer is a 26-year-old guard and has been practicing with the team for their last seven games.

He’s also a graduate of Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton and also represented the University of Augustana before graduating in 2015.

When he played at MacEwan, he was second in the country for minutes played and led the nation in made three-point shots during his final season.

Lee also has experience playing on the Canadian FIBA 3×3 circuit, where he represented team Grande Prairie.
