Wolves volleyball drop weekend openers to NAIT

GPRC Wolves volleyball teams are spending the weekend in the capital region, taking on their counterparts from NAIT University.

Friday night’s women’s match-up was a back and forth affair, with the Ooks eventually taking it in 5 games (25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-4).

Megan Fowler led the way for the Wolves with 22 points (17 kills, 3 blocks, 2 service aces), while Lana Matthews chipped in with 17 points (15 kills, 2 aces).

The men’s game saw NAIT pick up a 3 games to 1 victory (25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19).

Tom Wheeler had 11 points (9 kills, 2 blocks) to lead the way for GPRC, while Ethan Nashim added 10 points (8 kills, 2 blocks).
