County fire crews respond to rural blaze near Wembley

Investigators are looking into the cause of an early Sunday morning fire near Wembley.

County fire crews from Wembley, Beaverlodge and La Glace responded to a call at 2:45 AM of a residential blaze at Range Road 91 near Township road 722.

The house was fully engulfed by time fire crews arrived.

It was extinguished quickly thanks to the use of a water tender shuttle.

There was nobody at home at the time of the blaze and no fire fighters were injured.
