Drumheller RCMP looking for armed robbery suspects

Feb 17, 2020 | 8:40 AM

Police in Drumheller are hoping the public will keep an eye out for two suspects who allegedly robbed a local bar on Feb. 13.

RCMP say it was at 7 p.m. on Thursday when two masked gunmen entered the Morrin Hotel Bar, about 20 minutes north of Drumheller, and robbed two employees.

Both were armed with long barrel firearms.

Mounties say the suspects left with a small amount of cash. The suspect vehicle was discovered abandoned outside Morrin, and set on fire. They are believed to have fled the area in another unknown vehicle.

The employees who were robbed were not injured.

If you see these suspects, you are advised to NOT approach them as they are considered armed and dangerous.
