Kings knock off Vipers to close NWJHL regular season

The 2019-2020 NWJHL regular season wrapped up on Sunday with the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings defeating the Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers 8-1.

Jeremy Niven and Darby Berg each scored twice for the Kings, while Bailey Hartman, Kyle Sha, Corbin Doram and Brent Headon added singles.

Peter Davis replied for the Vipers.

The NWJHL begin this week with the Kings visiting Fairview in game one of their series on Tuesday.

The Vipers will take on Dawson Creek in round one, with that series beginning Wednesday night in the Mile Zero city.
