RCMP continue 11 year investigation into the disappearance of Jody Hockett

Grande Prairie RCMP continue to seek information on the disappearance of Jody Hockett, 11 years after the investigation was opened.

Jody Hockett, who also went by the names ‘Jody Smith’, ‘Jodi’ and ‘Jessie’ disappeared on February 22, 2009.

She was last seen entering a white vehicle outside of the York Hotel in Grande Prairie.

At the time of her disappearance, Hockett was 33 years old, 5’5″ tall, Caucasian, with dyed strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing jeans, a black zip-up hooded sweater over a tank top, and high-heeled shoes with fur on them.

RCMP continue to investigate Hockett’s disappearance, and Crime Stoppers has since created a video, depicting the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
