RCMP search for alleged hammer thief in Valleyview

Valleyview RCMP are asking the public for information relating to a theft of an expensive tool from a local business.
On Thursday, February 13, at around 5:20 p.m., an unknown male entered Valleyview Building Supply, and allegedly stole a $300 hammer.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, standing 5’4″ tall, and weighing about 140 lbs. He has short black hair, and at the time of the incident was wearing a red and black baseball cap, an orange reflective vest over a grey long sleeve shirt, and blue jeans.
The male took off on foot after the incident, and his whereabouts are unknown.
