Discipline and the penalty kill did in the Grande Prairie Storm on Saturday, as they continue to look for their first win in over a month.

The Bonnyville Pontiacs scored four times on 12 power play chances, as they knocked off the Storm 5-3 for Grande Prairie’s 13th straight loss.

The two teams combined for 114 penalty minutes in a game that featured 18 power play opportunities.

Daine Dubois scored twice and added an assist for the Pontiacs, while Cam Newton, Chayce Schmidt and Thomas Kramer added singles.

Devin Sutton scored twice for the Storm, including a power play and a short handed goal, while Cade Mason added the other Storm goal.

The two teams meet again Sunday afternoon in Bonnyville before the Storm return home to close off their regular season on Tuesday against Whitecourt.
