The Dawson Creek Canucks completed a four game sweep of the Grimshaw Huskies on Saturday to move on to the North Peace Hockey League final.

Kevin Hope scored twice to push the Canucks to a 4-1 win in Grimshaw.

Jeff Taylor and Levi George also scored for the Canucks, while Ty Wiebe replied for the Huskies.

Geoff Dick’s goal at the 18:57 mark of overtime gave the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings a 2-1 win in Fairview, and a two games to one lead in their NWJHL quarterfinal series.

Blake Gillingham also scored for the Kings, while Rylee Hebert replied for the Flyers.

Meanwhile, Blake Wilson scored twice to give the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks a 5-3 win over the Sundown Oilfield Services Sexsmith Vipers in game three of their playoff series.

Chase Henrickson, Carter Maki and Dayton Nelson also scored for the Canucks, who now have a 2-1 lead in the series.

Thomas LaValley with two and Justin Doucette replied for the Vipers.

GPAC and PCFAC teams went 1-and-2 against teams from Sherwood Park on Saturdya.

The PCFAC Female Midget Elite Storm got a 39 save performance from Grace Lutz in a 2-0 win.

Paige Budgell and Jailyn Bablitz scored for the female Storm.

Tyler Buchberger and Jaydon Gordey scored for the Midget AA Storm in a 602 loss to Sherwood Park.

And Levi Pratt and Joel West scored as the U-16 Minor Midget AAA Storm fell 3-2 to Sherwood Park.
