Beaverlodge Regional High School re-opens Wednesday

Feb 26, 2020 | 6:38 AM

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division says Beaverlodge Regional High School will re-open Wednesday, following two days of being closed because of a water main break affecting the area around the school.

Water is flowing to that area of town once again, but a boil water advisory is in place as chlorine remains in the lines from testing. Drinking water will be provided at the school.

The water is safe for flushing toilets and taking showers. The town says to let cold water run for 5-10 minutes until the smell of chlorine dissipates.

The Town of Beaverlodge will advise when the water is safe to drink.
