Beaverlodge RCMP asking drivers to avoid unnecessary travel

Mar 6, 2020 | 12:55 PM

Beaverlodge RCMP have sent out a warning about poor winter driving conditions.

Mounties say earlier today, they were on the scene of a vehicle towing a trailer going off the road near Highway 43 and Secondary Highway 671 when a three-vehicle crash happened nearby.

There is also a semi off the road that is blocking traffic in that same area.

No one was hurt in any of the accidents.

Traffic is restricted to one lane on Highway 43 by Albright until all the vehicles are towed away. 511 Alberta says traffic in both directions is being impacted.

Beaverlodge RCMP are asking drivers to avoid unnecessary travel. They say roads are snow-covered and icy and visibility is reduced.
