Suspect wanted after armed robbery at La Glace Fas Gas

The Beaverlodge RCMP are on the lookout for a suspect following an armed robbery in the early hours of Sunday morning at the Fas Gas in La Glace.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 6:45 a.m. on April 5, where about 15 minutes prior to that call, a suspect wearing a mask walked into the store with what was thought to be a firearm.

The suspect then got away with a small amount of cash and cigarettes packs before leaving the scene. RCMP say the suspect may have left in a blue pickup truck.

The Beaverlodge RCMP say they and police dogs attempted to track the suspect but did not find them.
