Third COVID-19 case confirmed in the County of Grande Prairie
The County of Grande Prairie added one newly confirmed case of COVID-19 on Tuesday, as the province as a whole added 25 for April 7.
The province updated its COVID-19 stats on its aggregate data website in lieu of a press conference with Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw, as Premier Jason Kenney is slated to provide Alberta’s projections for the impacts of COVID-19 in a televised address this evening.
The address is to begin at 6 p.m. on CBC, CTV, CityTV and Global.
The third case to appear in the County of Grande Prairie was the one new case added in the North Zone Tuesday, raising the Zone total to 90 confirmed cases of COVID-19. The province as a whole now has 1,373.
