M.D. of Greenview declares second State of Local Emergency

The M.D. of Greenview has declared a second State of Local Emergency.

The State of Local Emergency was issued to help respond to “extraordinary” flooding and damage to infrastructure in the region caused by an “unprecedented” spring thaw.

The second SOLE will coincide with the one in place to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Greenview crews and contractors will continue to work to minimize the risk to the travelling public.

The MD of Greenview says that the safety of the travelling public, residents and communities remains their top priority.
