Spring Melt Floods

City closes roads due to flooding

The City of Grande Prairie has closed two roads due to flooding.

116 Street is closed from 104 Avenue to the roundabout at Highway 43, and 132 Avenue is also flooded and closed between 108 Street and 116 Street.

The City says the flooding is due to spring melt runoff, and that City crews are checking the scenes regularly.
