Water outage scheduled for Monday in Bezanson

Bezanson residents are being advised by the County of Grande Prairie of a scheduled water outage on Monday, April 27.

The outage is to occur between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and will allow for critical upgrades to happen to the Bezanson water treatment plant.

Residents are being advised to store water for drinking, cooking, hygiene needs and pets.

The Bezanson Truck Fill Station will also be closed on Monday, and residents are being asked to haul water before April 27.

The County says that when the water comes back, it may spit and be discoloured. They say to run the water until it is clear if this happens.
