Police in Edmonton say they are searching for a man and woman who ran away from the Alberta Hospital Tuesday and that it is possible they might come to the Peace Country.

The Edmonton Police Service says in a news release that 40-year-old Reyhan Paul Jones and 30-year-old Bailey Gabriel, who also uses the last name Armstrong, were on a supervised walk Tuesday morning just before 10 a.m.

They bolted from the group they were with and ran across the street and got into a waiting grey SUV, which then sped off.

Police say it is likely they are in the Edmonton or Spruce Grove area, but it is possible they have travelled to other parts of the province, including Grande Prairie and surrounding area.

Jones is described as white, 6’2″, 240 pounds with a shaved head and a beard. He was wearing a cammo T-shirt, jeans, a black jacket, green cap, and black shoes.

Gabriel is 5’1″, 145 pounds with dyed red shoulder-length hair and glasses. She was wearing a red long sleeve shirt, black sweats, a black jacket and black shoes.

EPS adds that both Jones and Gabriel require medication and they are concerned for their well being. They are considered by police to be violent and dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone who knows where they might be is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250
