WPCA cancels 2020 season

The World Professional Chuckwagon Association has cancelled the entire 2020 season.
The announcement Wednesday evening cites the continued ban on mass gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic and that several host committees had already cancelled or postponed their events.
The WPCA says in its announcement that after talking with those host committees, everyone agreed that the health and safety of the public, fans, volunteers, sponsors, and staff had to be the number one priority for event organizers.
The announcement promises that the Association and drivers, sponsors, and committees will work to sustain what the announcement calls “the western heritage.”
