Howe brought in to custody by Grande Prairie RCMP

Telford Randall Howe has been arrested on outstanding warrants thanks to a tip from the public.

Grande Prairie RCMP apprehended the 39-year-old Howe this morning.

He was previously charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, commit an indicated offence while disguised, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. All of those charges stem from an incident that occurred on April 16, 2020 in Whitecourt.

Howe is also a person of interest in the homicide of a man in Grande Prairie last Saturday in the area of 106 Avenue and 102 Street.

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate that case, and anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to contact the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-831-2340, or local police.
