99 Avenue closed to eastbound traffic at 97 Street Wednesday night

Starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening, the intersection at 99 Avenue and 97 Street will be closed to eastbound traffic so crews can make repairs to the rail crossing just to the east of the intersection. The closure is expected to last six hours.

Drivers heading eastbound on 99 Avenue must detour at 98 Street (Resources Road) and either turn left to travel north to 108 Avenue, or turn right and head south to 68 Avenue.

Access to the Junction Point strip mall from 99 Avenue will still be available during the closure.
