City of Grande Prairie down to zero active COVID-19 cases Sunday
Sunday’s data update on COVID-19 in Alberta shows that the City of Grande Prairie has no active cases as of May 10, while Alberta added 96 new cases over the last 24 hours.
The case of the one active case being removed from the City of Grande Prairie’s total, according to Alberta Health spokeperson Jessica Lucenko, is likely to do with the patient’s primary address being changed in the system, therefore the case is now attributed to another municipality in Alberta.
There was one new case of COVID-19 reported in the North Zone Sunday, coming in the Mackenzie County area. There have now been 227 cases of COVID-19 reported in northern Alberta as of May 10. Thirty-one of those cases are active at this time.
