Town Hall call will discuss economy’s re-opening phases

The Business Resilience Task-Force is holding a Telephone Town Hall tonight, to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic, and the re-opening of the economy.

The call will allow the public to ask questions and get more information from government representatives regarding the re-opening phases and processes.

The call will feature:

  • Grande Prairie-Mackenzie MP Chris Warkentin
  • Minister of Finance and President of the Treasury Board Travis Toews
  • Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard
  • Grande Prairie Mayor Bill Given
  • County of Grande Prairie Reeve Leanne Beaupre
  • Sexsmith Mayor Kate Potter
  • Beaverlodge Mayor Gary Rycroft
  • Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce Chair Larry Gibson

The Town Hall call will go from 6:00-7:30 p.m., and those interested in participating must register online by 3:00 p.m. in order to pre-submit question.

The Business Resiliency Task force is a collaboration of the City and County of Grande Prairie, and the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce.
