Alberta adds 39 new COVID-19 cases Monday
There was no change in the number of COVID-19 cases in the Peace Region Monday, as the province reported 39 new cases for May 18.
As of Victoria Day, there are 1,036 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta, with 18 of those active cases being located in the North Zone. The total number of recoveries rose by 66 on Monday, meaning 5,510 Albertans and 196 Northern Alberta residents have recovered from COVID-19.
One more Albertan has died from the disease over the last 24 hours in the Calgary Zone, raising the death toll from COVID-19 in Alberta to 128.
