May 19, 2020 | 5:27 PM

Fort St. John RCMP say they are looking into a report of a man handing out candy to kids.

Police say they got a call May 15 around 8:30 p.m. of a man in his 60’s doing this at a spot along Alaska Road.

The Mounties add there were not attempts to lure any child.

The man was driving blue Dodge Grand Caravan with black steel rims and tape on the headlights.

RCMP are asking anyone else who may have had an interaction like this to contact them at 250-787-8100.

Parents are being asked to review safety precautions with their kids, including getting permission to talk to people they don’t know or to accept gifts or treats from people they don’t know.
