High Prairie RCMP investigating shooting on Peavine Metis Settlement

High Prairie RCMP are investigating a shooting that left a man injured outside a residence on the Peavine Metis Settlement.

On May 23, at around 6:30 p.m., RCMP responded to a report of a male being injured outside the residence.

The male was found with what they believed to be a gunshot wound, and flown via STARS to an Edmonton hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. High Prairie RCMP say they are continuing to investigate, and do not believe it to be a random incident.
