Police situation unfolding east of Whitecourt

RCMP in Whitecourt are advising of a heavy police presence in the Blue Ridge area in Woodlands County Tuesday morning.
Few details are being provided by authorities on the on-going incident, only to say that it is the situation is unfolding between Township Roads 592 and 594 near Range Road 102, approximately 20 km east of Whitecourt.
RCMP will provide an update when more information is available. They ask the public to avoid the area and to not post pictures or videos on social media.
