Town of Sexsmith offering reward to find Heritage Park Campground vandals

The Town of Sexsmith is hoping to find those responsible for vandalism at the Heritage Park Campground on June 6 and 10.

The town says on those days, two picnics tables were wrecked, a tree was chopped down and one of the washroom buildings was broken into where a mess of liquor bottles were found inside.

“A reward of up to $400.00 shall be offered to the persons providing information that lead to the arrest and conviction of the persons vandalizing public property,” the town says in a Facebook post.

Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to report it to County of Grande Prairie Regional Enforcement Services at 780-532-9727, the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
