Approximately 10,000 litres of fuel stolen from McLennan area work site

RCMP in McLennan are seeking those responsible for an alleged theft of approximately 10,000 litres of fuel and some equipment from a construction site along Highway 2 earlier this month.

Authorities were notified of the theft from the site on Highway 2, near Highway 747, on June 9. They say between June 5 and 9, unknown suspects stole the fuel out of several work vehicles. Police believe this crime was committed by multiple offenders.

McLennan RCMP are now asking anyone with information, such as a sighting of suspicious people at that site or vehicles that did not seem to belong there during that time frame, to come forward to the McLennan RCMP, your local police, or Crime Stoppers.
