On Thursday, July 2, an unknown man stole a mobility scooter from our parking lot in downtown Grande Prairie that belongs to one of our team members, Scott Maitland.

The scooter was stolen at around 5:48 p.m. on July 2 from the southeast corner of our parking lot at our downtown studios, located on 101 Avenue near 97 Street. The scooter is a Pride brand scooter, red in colour. It is a three wheeled model with a front basket.

Scott, one of our creative writers, has Cerebral Palsy and uses this scooter to get around town. If you have any information that can help identify the suspect or can help lead to the scooter being returned to him please contact the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701.
