Two men arrested near Demmitt following break and enter

Beaverlodge RCMP arrested two men on Tuesday, July 7 following a report of a break and enter into a rural residence near Demmitt.

RCMP located a truck near the home with a male suspect inside. He was arrested without incident.

Shortly after, police found evidence that a second suspect had fled into the tall grass.

An RCMP Police Dog was deployed and found the second suspect.

The suspect was then treated by EMS for minor injuries as a result of contact with the dog.

Sixty-one-year-old Charles Guy Noel De Tilly and 44-year-old Ricky Dale Wilson, both from Horse Lake, were both charged with break and enter to a residence with intent to commit an indictable offence therein.

Wilson is facing an additional charge for resisting arrest of a peace officer.

De Tilly was released and is to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on September 14.

Following a judicial hearing, Wilson was released to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on July 22.
