City adds more bookings, increases maximum group size for outdoor pool

The City of Grande Prairie has added more booking times for the outdoor pool at Muskoseepi Park.

The change will now see six 45 minute time slots available on weekdays, and eight 60 minute long bookings available Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The addition of the bookings means the available schedule for the outdoor pool now looks as follows

Monday – Thursday

• 2:00 – 2:45 p.m.
• 3:15 – 4:00 p.m.
• 4:30 – 5:15 p.m.
• 5:45 – 6:30 p.m.
• 7:00 – 7:45 p.m.
• 8:15 – 9:00 p.m.

Bookings on weekdays cost $100 for each time slot, while weekend spots cost $125 each. Bookings can be made online.

Along with changing the schedule, the City has also increased it’s booking group size to a maximum of 35 people.

The City says the changes, which come just two weeks after opening to the public, are in response of a review of the facility’s capacity, the behaviour of the clients, and provincial guidelines.
