Thunderstorm watches for some areas still in place

UPDATE: The severe thunderstorm warning that was out earlier for parts of Northern Sunrise County has ended.

There is now a severe thunderstorm watch in place for the Slave Lake area.

The Grande Cache and Hinton areas, along with the Fox Creek and Whitecourt areas, are also under a severe thunderstorm watch.

Environment Canada says what it calls severe weather is possible all evening.

There is a severe thunderstorm warning in place for part of Yellowhead County near Edson.
