Four arrested following Fox Creek drug trafficking investigation

Fox Creek RCMP have arrested four people following a controlled drugs and substances search warrant that was executed at a residence in Fox Creek on August 8.

During the search, RCMP say they found and seized a significant amount of drugs, including meth, heroin and oxycodone, as well as various other paraphernalia.

Police also found a sawed-off shotgun, a replica firearm, ammunition, a butterfly knife and cash during the investigation.

Mounties have charged 24-year-old Terrence Bergseth and 28-year-old Samantha Alley with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an opioid, two counts for possession of a prohibited weapon, unlawful storage of a prohibited weapon, as well as weapon prohibition breaches.

Bergseth and Alley are scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie court on August 24.

RCMP also arrested and charged a 21-year-old male and a 26-year-old female with drug and weapons related charges. They were released on undertakings and are scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie court on October 26.
