UPDATE: High Prairie area teen found safe

UPDATE: High Prairie RCMP say Sunday that 15-year-old Sierra Auger has been found safe and unharmed. They thank the public for their assistance.

The High Prairie RCMP is continuing to seek the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Sierra Auger.

Auger was last seen in the Gift Lake Metis Settlement/Whitefish Lake First Nations (Atikameg 459) area on July 20.

Since the search was launched, the RCMP has received information which indicates that Sierra may be known to frequent the Fahler and Peace River areas.

Auger is described as a 15-year-old Indigenous female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’3″ tall and weighs about 143 lbs.

The RCMP is concerned for Sierra’s wellbeing, and would like to speak with her.
