They were arrested after the disappearance and death of Barry Goodswimmer.

Goodswimmer was reported missing to RCMP on June 16, 2019. His body was found on June 30 in the MD of Greenview.

An autopsy determined he had been murdered.

Other details of the case were not released at the time.

Trial dates set in death of Wabasca woman

Alberta Justice says a trial for a Manitoba man charged after the disappearance and death of a woman from Wabasca will take place next May.

Grant Arthur Sneesby of Gladstone, Manitoba is scheduled to stand trial May 3 to 21, 2021 in Peace River court on charges of murder and interfering with a dead body.

He was arrested after the body of Gloria Gladue was found in Manitoba nearly three years after she was reported missing by family.

The 44-year-old was last seen in Wabasca in October 2015 and was reported missing a month later.

Her body was found in rural Manitoba on June 17, 2018.
